Clifford “Cliff” David Nichols

Cliff Nichols, 53, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 13, peacefully at his home in Sheridan. Cliff gladly shared a home with his roommate and best friend, Jake Crabbe. 

Cliff was born in Ogden, Utah, at the St. Benedict’s Hospital to Patricia Ann and David Clark Nichols.

Cliff was the proud father of three children, Samuel Collins, Rachel Collings and Jackie Homan; and the proud grandfather to a 6-year-old grandson and two more grandsons on the way.

Cliff spent most of his life living as a proud Wyoming resident. Cliff was also proud to be a veteran, having served in the U.S Army. Cliff spent some of his 10 years in the Army stationed in South Korea and Hawaii before becoming a disabled vet.

Cliff is survived by his son, Samuel Collins of Lyman; daughters, Rachel Collings (Lance) of Evanston and Jackie Homan of Lyman; grandchildren: Xulan David Welsh Swensen, 6, of Lyman; Lance Cyrus Collings, due Feb. 17, 2021, of Evanston,; and Xyan Michael Boyd Swensen, due April. 19, 2021, of Lyman Wyoming; parents, Patricia and Bruce Nicholls of Afton; brother, Jason Nichols of Spokane, Washington.

Cliff is preceded by his father, David Clark Nichols.

Graveside services for Clifford Nichols will be held at the Heber City Cemetery in Heber, Utah, on Feb. 9, at 1 p.m.
