Chevron donates to search and rescue

Posted

Chevron recently donated a Ford 150 that has been customized for off-road use to Uinta County Search and Rescue. The vehicle has mattracks in place of wheels and tires and can travel over snow or mud in extreme conditions. Uinta County Sheriff Doug Matthews said it will certainly be a very useful piece of equipment in a critical rescue situation and will lend greatly to search and rescue’s ability to respond in adverse conditions. Matthews said Chevron also donated a Small Command Post office trailer and a mobile cook trailer that will enhance the search and rescue’s operational abilities and effectiveness.
