Carrie Linn

Carrie Linn passed away Sunday, Dec 17. She was born Dec. 11, 1958, to Bill and Beverly Timmerman in Salt Lake City.

Carrie had a zest for life and she never missed an opportunity to have fun. She enjoyed her time on the lake; fishing, water skiing and spending time with friends and family.

During the summer, she spent most of her time at her “summer home” at the Lucerne Marina. The marina became her and her daughters’ second home. She became an active member of the yacht club and formed many lasting relationships.

She was a member of the local Eagles Club and she could be found there weekly for “Wine Wednesday.” She loved planning and attending social gatherings and was often the life of the party. She was always dancing and enjoyed live music.

Carrie had a big heart and spent much of her time taking care of those around her and making sure everyone was happy.

She attended high school at Skyline High School, and despite not graduating, she took the real estate profession by storm. For years she worked as a loan officer and later became a realtor.

She worked for numerous firms, and she worked for Remax for the last 14 years, where she earned numerous awards and achievements, including being inducted into the Remax Hall of Fame. She was also a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Wyoming Association of Realtors, Western Wyoming Board of Realtors and the Uinta County Chamber of Commerce.

Carrie married Charles Linn, April 21, 2014, in Page, Arizona.

Carrie loved all animals, especially her pets — Charlie Girl, her dog, and Stanley, her cat.

Carrie is survived by her husband, Charles Linn; daughters, Emily Tess Farley and Lacie Dawn Archer; stepdaughters, Jessica Whinnery and Nicole Page (Jerry); grandchildren, Kimber, Cayman and Taya; father, Bill Timmerman; siblings, Rodney Timmerman (Cindy), Cyndi Timmerman Stugelmeyer, Sandra Kocsis (Ernest) and Amy Bybee (Steve); and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Timmerman; brother, Richard Scott Timmerman; and her beloved dog, Lady Allie Capone.

Contributions in her memory can be made to the Humane Society.

Services under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 22, at the LDS chapel located at 251 Elm St. in Evanston with graveside service to follow at the Evanston Cemetery.
