Francis “Bud” Krieger, 77, died at home on Tuesday, April 26, after a brief illness, with his wife Kathleen by his side. They would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 27.
Bud was born in Kingsville, Texas, to Joy and Francis Krieger.
He was a man of many talents. His working career was mainly as a mechanic. He later started a plumbing business and retired in 2008. Bud was a quiet man and a bit of a rebel. He enjoyed being home with his dogs, rebuilding cars watching NASCAR, and old movies.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen; his sons, Matthew (Wendy), Kevin, Steve, Jody and Greg; his daughter, Dearra Ginder; and her husband, Scott; as well as several grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Cecile Hanna.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private memorial will be held at a later date.
