Brian Edward Gerrard, our beloved father, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, Feb. 9.
Eddie was born on Dec. 9, 1968, to David and Edna Gerrard, in Evanston. After he graduated from Evanston High School, he went on to work in several trades. He did construction and oilfield work and was, ultimately, a cook at many restaurants in the Evanston area. He loved to cook and was excellent at it.
He took care of his parents most of his adult life, up until their passing. Eddie loved spending time at home, playing cards or dice. He loved to listen to his music loud. He also enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, drawing and painting.
Eddie is survived by three children, Jordon (Deniell) MacDonald, Heather (Ben) Reynolds and Adam Gerrard; seven brothers and sisters, Linda Lamb, Tom Bateman, Diane Myers, Allen Gerrard, Randy (Linny) Gerrard, Dawn Hawke and Clifford (Brenda) Gerrard; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
We would like to express our gratitude from the family; we appreciate the help and support during this time.
No services will be held at this time. The family is planning a celebration of life in the summer of 2021.
