Bonnie Sue (Hood) Montoya
Bonnie Hood Montoya, 65, passed away May 5, 2017, in Jackson, Wyo., after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on Aug. 30, 1951, in Niagara, N.Y., to Edwin Clarence and Delores (Stivers) Heinrich.
On April 22, 1997, she married Randy Montoya in Stapleton, Neb.
She is survived by her husband Randy, her father-in-law Juan and an extensive family of in-laws, her close friend Jody, her sons Doug, Craig and Brad and their families, her siblings Diane, Sherry, Tam, Art and Patrick, as well as many extended family members.
She was closest to her Aunt Sal, Aunt Mary and cousin Cindy. A special thanks to her friends and medical caregivers for their kind and compassionate care during her four-year battle.
In lieu of flowers, Bonnie requested donations to the Kickin’ Cancer Memorial Fund at P.O. Box 687, Pinedale, WY 82941.
Graveside service was on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the Evanston City Cemetery.
