Blanche Ann (Adams) Smith

Blanche Ann (Adams) Smith was born Nov. 26, 1941, in Laramie, to Rufford Adams and Louella (Logan) Adams. She left us on Sunday, Aug. 28, at the age of 80.

She managed the Pioneer Title and Insurance Company, before working at the Uinta County Courthouse, where she retired. She was involved in many community charities and events.

She dearly loved her family and friends. She loved spending time at the family cabin, fishing and camping. She enjoyed traveling, singing, dancing and a good party. She was blessed with a great group of friends — the Red Hatters and the bunco ladies. She celebrated every holiday and special event with love and excitement.

She is survived by her children, Melvin Lester Wren Jr. of Evanston, Rick Lee Wren of Plummer, Idaho, Christine Ann Harris of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Mike Ray Wren of Riverton, Utah; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond Arthur Adams of Powell; and sister, Sharon Kay Trayer of Sagle, Idaho.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; Melvin Lester Wren Sr.; Harold (Pee Wee) Smith; her soul companion, Roger Fife; and her beloved aunt, Jean Bunn.

Services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 7, at Crandall Funeral Home, 800 Uinta St., Evanston. Viewing will be from 9-10 a.m., service from 10-11 a.m., followed by a grave dedication at Evanston City Cemetery and a memorial lunch at the Train Depot.
