Bert Martin Foster passed away at his home in Evanston on Saturday, June 2, at the age of 76. He was born on Jan. 3, 1942, in Pocatello, Idaho, to George and Mae Foster. He attended Pocatello High School. 

Martin enjoyed hunting and ammo reloading, fishing and boating and spending time at his cabin in Alpine. He enjoyed the outdoors. He loved spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He and his wife, Cheryl married June 15, 1962. After marriage, they moved to Georgia, Louisiana and Texas for several years. They resided in Evanston since the early 1980s and continued raising children and grandchildren. 

Martin is survived by his children, Candace (Steve) Bindrup, Heather (Jesse) Schurz, Tate (Angie) Foster and Whitney Mitchell. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Ann Foster; parents, George and Mae; and brothers George Lynnwood Foster and Jon Dale Foster.

Graveside services will be held at the Mountain View Cemetery in Pocatello, Idaho, on Saturday, June 9, at 11 a.m.
