EVANSTON — Evanston High School golf coach Jerry Carroll wants students who plan on participating in the high school’s golf program to know that the season is starting early.
“We’ve never had a start this early before,” Carrol said. “Our first meet will be held August 10-11 in Lander.”
Due to the early start coach Carroll is reminding all particpants to get their physicals done quickly.
The first practice will be held Monday, August 7, at the Purple Sage Golf Course starting at 7:30 a.m.
It is important to have a physical completed before the practice so golfers need to see their doctors.
“If someone doesn’t have a doctor they can contact the activities department at the school and get a list of local doctors who can help,” Carroll said.
The spring golf team had a great year and they’re looking forward to this season.
