Irish group Socks in the Frying Pan performed at the 6 p.m. headline concert of the Celtic Festival on Saturday, March 24. Fiddler Fiachra Hayes, accordion player Shane Hayes and guitarist Aodan Coyne kept the crowd laughing and clapping along throughout their set. The festival is put on by The Arts, Inc. each year. Executive director Carolee Bowen said early estimates are that attendance was up from last year, with about 2200 to 2300 people attending over the course of the weekend.
