This year’s Uinta County leg of the annual Pony Express re-ride will be on June 15. Participants will receive mail at 6 p.m. in Granger and carry it to the Utah border near Evanston, where Utah riders will carry it on toward California.
Applications are due April 1. Riders must be at least 14 years old and have a horse that can maintain a lope for two miles. You can sign up at Rips Grocery, 98 Uinta County Rd. in Evanston. For more information, call Ron Atkinson at (307) 789-3854.
