MOUNTAIN VIEW — Aaron Lane Thorton, 23, of Mountain View, Wyoming, passed away July 8, 2020.

Aaron was born in Geneva, Nebraska, to Michele Hartley and Kenneth Thorton on Aug. 3, 1996. He attended school in Kemmerer and Evanston, Wyoming, and was a part of The American Legion Sons. Aaron married the love of his life Brittany (Mair) Thorton on Oct. 10, 2019. Aaron loved to spend his free time in the mountains mudding, fishing with family and friends and working on vehicles with his buddy/cousin Trevor Benton. 

Aaron is survived by his beloved wife, Brittany (Mair) Thornton; sister, Mariah (Tony) James; brother, Jesse Hartley; mother, Michele Hartley; father, Kenneth Thorton; grandmothers: Elaine Peterson and Susan Pedrini; grandfather, Rick Hartley; cousins: Trevor (Nicolette) Benton, Colton Benton, Shae Benton, Jazzy (Quintin) Bluemel, Nakoma Benton, Sanaya Benton and many more; nieces: Keira James, Chloe Benton, Alexis Benton; nephews: Edward James, Patrick James and Mason Benton; and numerous aunts, uncles and friends.

Aaron was preceded in death by Hailey Baker, Beryl Hartley, Joe Benton and Linda Hartley.

Aaron's celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m, Aug. 1, 2020, at 573 7th street Mountain View, Wyoming, with his wife Brittany (Mair) Thornton, family and friends. Afterwards there will be a group camping trip at the Flaming Gorge. Anyone is welcome to join.
