To all persons, firms, or corporations who have any claim for any work done for, or any material furnished to Consolidated Paving and Concrete for the construction of Street Overlay Project 2019 located in Evanston, WY. You are hereby notified that the City of Evanston, Wyoming has accepted as completed, according to the plans and specifications and rules set forth in the contract between the City of Evanston and the aforesaid contractor, the work in connection with the construction of the above, and that said contractor is entitled to final settlement therefore.
You are further notified that upon the 16th of September, 2019, being at least 10 days after the first publication of this notice, the City of Evanston will pay the full amount due under said Contract; and in the event that your claim is not filed with the City Clerk of said City prior to said 16th day of September, 2019, the same shall be waived.

Second Regular Meeting
August 20, 2019
The official record of proceedings of the second regular meeting of the Evanston City Council for the month of August was held in the Council Chambers of City Hall on the above date. These proceedings were video recorded.
Mayor Williams led those in attendance in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
The roll was called and with a quorum being present, Mayor Kent Williams called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. and welcomed everyone present.
Those present from the governing body at the start of the meeting were: Mayor Williams; Councilmembers Tib Ottley, David Welling, Mike Sellers, and Mikal Welling. Councilmembers Tim Lynch and Evan Perkes were excused.
Staff members present at the start of the meeting were: City Attorney, Dennis Boal; City Clerk, Nancy Stevenson; City Treasurer, Trudy Lym; Community Development Director, Rocco O’Neill; Police Chief, Jon Kirby ; Director of Engineering & Planning, Dean Barker; Public Works Director, Gordon Robinson; Director of Parks and Recreation, Scott Ehlers; Community Relations Coordinator/Grant Writer, Mieke Madrid; and Urban Renewal Coordinator, Jane Law. A group of interested citizens were also present.

Council Comments
Councilmember David Welling reminded everyone that school will be starting again next week and to watch for children and school busses.
Councilmember Sellers commented on the new McDonalds and that it is a nice addition to that area.
Mayor Williams commented on the 19th Amendment event that he gave a few remarks at and thanked the organizers for the invitation to attend that event.
Public Hearing
City Attorney, Dennis Boal conducted a public hearing to receive public comments regarding a proposed Business Ready Community Planning Grant from the Wyoming Business Council to create an assessment and redevelopment plan for a portion of the existing historic Wyoming State Hospital campus for various economic development opportunities. Grant Writer, Mieke Madrid gave an overview of what the grant would be used for. No one else address this proposal and the hearing was closed.
Consent Agenda
Councilmember D. Welling moved, Councilmember Sellers seconded, to approve a Parade Route Permit requested by the Historic Preservation Commission for a Military Vehicle Preservation Association Motor Convoy on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at approximately 3:15 p.m. The convoy will exit Interstate 80 at Exit #6 onto Bear River Drive and continue through town to the Roundhouse; and A Limited Malt Beverage Permit requested by the Uinta Non-Profits Unite for the Slow Burn BBQ Cook Off fundraiser, to be held in Depot Square on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The motion passed unanimously with 5 yes votes: Williams, Ottley, D. Comments/Remarks
Scott Ehlers announced that the Splash Pad would open tomorrow (August 21) at 10:00 a.m. He thanked all those that have helped in anyway to get this project up and going.
Rocco O’Neill thanked Mieke Madrid for all her work on the grant application that was proposed this evening.
Dean Barker stated that work on the Safe Routes to School Project has begun.
Public Participation
Chamber Director, Tammy Halliday invited everyone to attend the “Light Up The Night” Water Lantern Festival event this Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
