Notice to the Public
Notice is hereby given that effective August 26, 2019, a vacancy has occurred on the Board of Trustees for Uinta County School District Number One, Evanston, Wyoming. Pursuant to Wyoming Statute section 21-3-108, and Board Policies Section BBE, the Board of Trustees is seeking Qualified Electors who wish to be considered for appointment to fill said vacancy until the next election of school district trustees. Inasmuch as the unexpired term expires in December 2020, the position will be filled only until the next general election in November 2020 at which time the appointed candidate may run for office.
Qualified Electors are citizens of the United States who are bona fide residents of Wyoming and of the District, have registered to vote, and will be at least 18 years of age on the day of the appointment. Those Qualified Electors of Uinta County School District Number One, Evanston, Wyoming, interested in being considered for appointment should send a letter of interest, listing address of residence and a brief statement outlining qualifications and specific reasons why you would like to serve as a trustee.
