Notice is hereby given that John Condos has applied for a Conditional Use Permit to allow for the operation of a Gravel Pit and Crusher on property in Section 20 of T15N, R114W, Uinta County, Wyoming.

Notice of Public Hearing

A public hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the Uinta County Courthouse, 225 9th Street, Evanston, Wyoming to solicit public comments regarding a proposed Abandoned Mine Lands Public Facilities grant.  Uinta County has been determined eligible to apply for AML grant funds by Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ).  AML Public Facilities grant program is focused on assisting local communities and public entities to mitigate the impacts of historic coal and mineral mining and processing.  Uinta County Commission is seeking AML Public Facilities grant funds in order to design, purchase, and install grandstands at Uinta County Fairgrounds.

Project consists of all labor, material, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete; removal of six large pine trees, 505 SY of concrete sidewalk, 110 S.Y. raised concrete crosswalk with transitions, curb and gutter, 55 L.F. concrete ADA ramp with railing, two sets of concrete steps with railing, three storm drain catch basins, 200 L.F. of 15” HDPE storm drain pipe, related demolition and grading, traffic control, and material testing.

Each Bidder will be required to submit, with their bid, a certified check, or Bid Bond made payable without condition to the Uinta County School District No. 1 in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the Bidder’s maximum Bid Price as guarantee that such Bidder will enter into a contract within five (5) days after the date of the OWNER’S Notice of Award.

Preference will be given to resident Wyoming Contractor’s in the amount of five percent (5%) of the low bid in accordance with Wyoming Statutes. Submit Certificate of Wyoming Residence Status with each proposal.
