PUBLIC NOTICE

The Wyoming Public Service Commission (Commission) approved the Application of Questar Gas Company d/b/a Dominion Energy Wyoming (Dominion or the Company) to pass-on to its customers a wholesale gas cost increase of $0.53496 per dekatherm (Dth), effective June 1, 2021. This approval is subject to notice, protest, investigation, opportunity for hearing, change, refund, and such other orders as the Commission may deem appropriate.

A Dominion residential customer using an average of 90 Dth per year will see an increase of approximately $48.13 over twelve months, or 6.18%. Actual bills will vary with usage.

Under Commission Rule Chapter 3, Section 26, a utility may apply to pass on to its customers known or prospective wholesale commodity cost increases or decreases on a dollar-for-dollar basis and subject to public notice, opportunity for hearing, and refund.

The Application is on file at the Commission’s offices in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Any interested person may inspect the Application during regular business hours or at: http://psc.state.wy.us.

            Anyone desiring to file a request for a public hearing, intervention petition, statement, protest, or public comment in this matter must file in writing with the Commission on or before July 23, 2021. Petitions to intervene and requests for hearing must set forth the grounds upon which they are made and the position and interest of the filing party in this proceeding.

NOTICE OF HEARING ON WEED & PEST CONTROL DISTRICT BUDGET AND PUBLIC MEETING

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing on the proposed budget for Uinta County Weed and Pest Control District for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022, which has been approved by the Board of Directors, will be held at the Uinta County Weed & Pest, 57 Patriot Court in Evanston, Wyoming, Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at 7:00 P.M. at which time any and all persons interested may appear and be heard respecting such budget and proposals for designated or declared weeds and pests. The declared species proposed to be removed from the county declared list which will be discussed at this public meeting are sheep keds.  Any additions or deletions to the county declared or state designated lists for noxious weeds/pests may be discussed at this public meeting.

Notice of Public Budget Hearing

Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to consider the budget for the Uinta County Library for the fiscal year 2021-2022. The hearing will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 19th in the Commissioner’s Chamber of the Uinta County Courthouse in Evanston, Wyoming. At that time, any and all interested persons may appear and be heard in regard to this budget.

June 22, 2021

The official record of proceedings for a special meeting of the Evanston City Council was held in the Conference Room of City Hall on the above date. 

Mayor Williams led those in attendance in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

The roll was called and with a quorum being present, Mayor Kent Williams called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. and welcomed everyone present.

Those present from the governing body at the start of meeting were:  Mayor Williams; Council members; Tim Lynch, Tib Ottley, Evan Perkes, David Welling and Mike Sellers.  Council member Mikal Welling was excused.
