NOTICE OF INTENT TO DESTROY SPECIAL EDUCATION RECORDS
The Special Education Services Department of Uinta County School District Number One will begin destroying special education records of student who have not received any special education services from the district in the last five years. Destruction will begin on July 14, 2021.
All special education records of students who graduated from the district, reached the age of 21, moved from the district, dropped out of district schools, or gained inactive special education status five or more years before July 14, 2021, will be shredded beginning July 14, 2021.
Any parent/guardian or student who has reached the age of majority and is otherwise competent, may request a copy of the records in writing prior to July 13, 2021.
