Notice is hereby given that Kandy Roberts has applied for a Land Use District Change (Zone Change) and Subdivision Permit for a parcel of land in Section 24, T16N R115W.  The application would allow a change from the Agricultural/ Resource/Development (ARD) Land Use District to the Residential (R) Land Use District for the development of a two (2) lot Residential subdivision entitled the K Roberts Subdivision.

A public hearing on this matter will be held before the Board of Uinta County Commissioners on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at approximately 2:00 p.m. in the Commission Chambers of the Uinta County Complex, Evanston, Wyoming.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SELL PROPERTY

The City of Evanston intends to sell to the high bidder at a public auction the real  property more particularly described as:

Real Property:

A tract of land in the SW ¼ SE ¼ of Section 15, T15N, R120W, 6TH P.M., in the City of Evanston, Uinta County, Wyoming, said tract being more particularly described as follows:

BEGINNING at a point on the South line of said Section 15, said point of beginning lying S 89°34’39” E, 467.00 feet from the South one-quarter corner thereof;

thence N 2°09’30” E, 660.30 feet to a point on the North line of that tract of land in described in the Warranty Deed recorded in Book 200, Page 310 of the Uinta County Records;

thence the following three (3) courses along the boundary thereof:

 S 89°34’39” E, 376.00 feet;

thence S 0°25’21” W, 660.00 feet to the South line of said Section 15;

thence N 89°34’39” W, 396.00 feet along said South line to the POINT OF BEGINNING.

Said tract containing 5.849 acres, more or less.

TOGETHER with all right, title and interest the City may have in an unrecorded easement for access  in the NW ¼ NE ¼ of Section 22, T15N, R120W, 6TH P.M., in the City of Evanston, Uinta County, Wyoming, said easement being more particularly described as follows:

BEGINNING at a point on the North line of said Section 22, said point of beginning lying S 89°34’39” E, 494.36 feet from the North one-quarter corner thereof;

thence S 89°34’39” E, 75.28 feet along said North line;

thence S 5°17’21” W, 732.71 feet;

thence S 47°20’39” E, 324.79 feet;

thence N 87°14’10” W, 116.68 feet;

thence N 47°20’39” W, 272.50 feet;

thence N 5°17’21” E, 763.20 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.

Said easement containing 1.801 acres, more or less.

All persons desiring to purchase said  property should attend a public auction to be conducted by the Community Development Director or his designee at 1200 Main St. Evanston, Wyoming on May 27, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.

The terms of the sale shall be as follows:

  1. The conveyance of the real property to the high bidder by the City shall be by quitclaim deed subject to all easements, rights-of-ways, reservations, restrictions and existing or future oil and gas and/or other mineral leases, now of record. The City will not provide title insurance or any type of title commitment to the successful bidder.

2  The property will be sold in its entirety “as is where is” and the successful bidder will accept the property without any express or implied warranties, and will assume the risk for any claims, costs, liabilities, expenses or demands of whatsoever nature or source for any defects or environmental problems in the property, latent or obvious, discovered or undiscovered.

  1. The property is located in an Agricultural zoning district and is adjacent to the City’s old landfill. Questions about what uses of the property may be permitted in an Agricultural zone should be directed to the City Planning Department.  It shall be the responsibility of the bidder to make sure that its anticipated use of the property is  permitted or conditionally permitted within the zoning district.
  2. The high bidder shall tender a certified check or money order made payable to the City of Evanston in the amount of the bid price within twenty four hours of the time of sale. The minimum bid amount for which the City will consider selling the property is $5,849.00.
  3. The high bid will be considered by the governing body of the City of Evanston at its next regular or special meeting after the auction and will approve the sale to the highest bidder or reject all bids.

6..  By submitting a bid, each bidder is agreeing to and accepting all of the terms, conditions and limitations of the sale as set forth in this Notice of Intent to Sell Property.

Destruction of Permanent Files 

This notice is submitted to alert all families of children who  attended a Lincoln Uinta Child Development Association  developmental disabilities preschool program during the school  year 2014 through 2015. If your child received services through  one of LUCDA’s centers (Alpine Child Development Center,  Bridger Valley Child Development Center, LUCDA-Evanston,  Kemmerer Child Development Center, Star Valley Child  Development Center (Afton or Thayne) during the years listed,  those records will be destroyed on or after June 1, 2022. If  parents wish to obtain their child’s records they may contact the  local center where their child attended, or the LUCDA Regional  Office at P.O. Box 570, Mountain View, WY 82939, (307) 782-  6602 prior to June 1, 2022. Records will be given only to those  who can prove guardianship of the child. If you are a friend or  relative of a child who attended the program during these years,  please assist the program by notifying parents that records are  available.

Position Title: Athletic Trainer

Uinta County School District Number One is accepting Bids for a full time Athletic Trainer for the 2022-23 school year. The athletic trainer will perform the following duties:

  • Daily Schedule including hours during the EHS school day for rehabilitation and/or student consultation and instruction
  • Daily Practice Preparation: Taping, therapeutic treatments, padding, practice recommendations
  • Game coverage for all high school home games. Travel to away games only when a need is determined jointly by district leadership and the trainer
  • Communication: With students, parents, coaches, and primary care physicians on new injuries, treatment plans, and rehabilitation strategies
  • Maintain and stocking of medical supplies and equipment for training room
  • Perform baseline concussion neurocognitive testing and record keeping
  • Daily During Practice: Rehabilitation services, emergency and primary care of injured athletes
  • Advise coaches regarding rehabilitation, strength and conditioning plans if requested.
  • Provide annual training to coaches and sponsors on concussion protocols and care and prevention of athletic injuries
  • Work with all local medical providers, and consult with athlete’s primary care physician when necessary

General Conditions

Bids are requested on the following list of materials, articles, or services for delivery to the school or department designated, subject to the conditions of this invitation.

  1. This invitation is supplied in duplicate. Submit one copy of the completed bid in an envelope clearly marked “BID” and include the above reference number. The duplicate copy is to be retained by the bidder.
  2. UCSD #1 reserves the right to accept any bid received between May 15, 2022 and August 1, 2022.
  3. Bid forms must be signed by an officer or member of the bidding firm, who is authorized to legally bind the firm.
  4. All bids shall be effective from the date of opening until the date specified in special conditions of bidding, August 1, 2022.
  5. In order to be eligible to respond to this bid request, the bidder must meet all of the following qualifications:
  6. Licensed - The bidder must be licensed to conduct business in the State of Wyoming, County of Uinta and City of Evanston. The bidder must also have the necessary athletic training licensing from the State of Wyoming to perform the services required in the bid specifications. Proof of licensing under this paragraph must be submitted with the bid.
  7. Non-Discrimination - The bidder must comply, at all times during the bidding and contractual period, with all applicable federal, state, county, and city anti-discrimination laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations. Any violations of this provision shall be considered a violation of a material provision of the physical therapy contract and shall be grounds for cancellation, termination, or suspension.
  8. Worker’s Compensation. The bidder must be able to comply with the provisions of the Wyoming Workers Compensation Act, and all other legislation, federal and state, applicable to the work described herein, and to make all payments, returns and reports required by these acts.
  9. General Liability Insurance: Bidder shall provide current general liability insurance certifications in the amounts requested by the bid specifications. Failure to submit current insurance certifications with the bid may be cause for disqualification of submitted bid. No work will commence, or service be provided under any contract or bid, until all insurance requirements have been approved by Uinta County School District Number One.
  10. It is to be understood that the bidder, if awarded an order or contract, agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Uinta County School District Number One from any suits or demands for payment that may be brought against it for the use of patented material, process, article or device that may enter into the manufacturer or form a part of the work covered by either order or contract. Bidder further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Uinta County School District Number One from suits, claims or causes of actions of every nature and description brought against it for or on account of injuries or damages received or sustained by any party or for any of the acts of the contractor, his servants or agents.
  11. Federal Excise Tax, Sales Tax or Use Tax is not applicable to any purchase made for use by Uinta County School District Number One. Bids should not include any such taxes. Purchase exemption information can be provided as needed.
  12. Uinta County School District Number One herby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, age or national origin in consideration for an award. Bidders awarded any contracts hereby agree not to discriminate against any person who performs work there under because of race, color, sex, age or national origin or ancestry.
  13. Uinta County School District Number One reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality or technical defects in the bids, and unless otherwise specified by Uinta County School District Number One or by the Bidder, to accept any item or group of items in the bid, as may be in the best interest of Uinta County School District Number One.
  14. Uinta County School District Number One prohibits direct or indirect conflicts of interest, gratuities, and kickbacks to employees of Uinta County School District Number One for supplies or services. Any such conflict of interest must be reported by the bidder immediately. If a conflict of interest is found in connection to a bid, the bid will be rejected and the bidder may be disqualified from bidding with Uinta County School District Number One in the future. Law enforcement will be immediately notified of any potential criminal misconduct in connection with any conflict of interest.
