DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The work includes, Removal of existing tile floors, drop grid ceiling tiles, lockers and base, new tile floors, new ceiling tiles, painted grid, new lockers and benches, patch repair and painting of walls.

The Board of trustees for Uinta County School District Number One, Evanston, Wyoming is requesting proposals for Evanston High School Fire Alarm Replacement and Upgrade.

INVITATION TO BID

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Uinta County Commissioners are requesting bids for the Uinta County Dust Suppression Project.  The successful contractor will be required to furnish all supervision, technical, personnel, labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and services, including utility and transportation services to perform and complete all services and materials as defined in the bid documents.

Bid Documents are available from the Uinta County Planning Office within the Uinta County Complex, 225 9th St. Evanston, Wyoming 82930

Sealed bids will be received at the Uinta County Planning Office. 225 9th St. Evanston, Wyoming until 1:00 P.M. local time, March 27, 2020.  Bids should be marked on the outside “Uinta County Dust Suppression Project” with the name and address of the bidder.  Primary contact for this project is Kent Williams, Uinta County Planner (307) 783-0318.

Public opening of the bids will be on Friday, March 27, 2020 at 1:30 P.M. in the Uinta County Planning Office, 225 9th St. Evanston, Wyoming.  Bidders are welcome to attend.

This project is partially funded using Federal Grant Funds.  Therefore, all Federal Requirements associated with the use of these funds must be followed.

All projects over $150,000.00 shall be bonded therefore the successful bidder shall provide a 100% performance and payment bond.  All projects over $7500.00 or less than $150,000.00 require a form of guarantee as approved by the county.

The Board of Uinta County Commissioners hereby notifies all bidders that minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, creed, or national origin.

Uinta County reserves the right to accept or reject any items or all items, any part or all parts, any section or all sections, any bid or all bids as stated in the specifications to waive any irregularities or informalities, or to re-bid or re-advertise for bids if it is determined to be necessary or desirable and reserve the right to let the bid in any manner it sees fit.

Uinta County will not be bound to accept the low bid, but rather the bid that is in the best interest of Uinta County.

SEALED BIDS for STREET STRIPING (PAINTING) improvements will be received by the City of Evanston at the Department of Public Works, 33 Allegiance Circle, Evanston, Wyoming; until 10:30 a.m., WEDNESDAY, MARCH 11, 2020, at which time any and all bids received will be opened and read aloud. The successful bidder shall furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary for completion of the project.

MATERIALS INCLUDE:    White and Yellow fast drying traffic paint meeting Wyoming Department of Transportation (WyDOT) Specifications.

WORK DESCRIPTION:   1)  Painting crosswalks, stop bars and parking lines.  2)  Painting edge lines and center lines (long lines).

RESIDENT PREFERENCE(S): In order to receive a five percent (5%) resident preference, resident contractors and material suppliers must be state certified and receive a certificate of residency.  When obtaining project bid documents, resident contractors and suppliers must   indicate their residency status by providing their residency certification number.  Certified resident suppliers shall submit a list of supplies and materials, specific to the project, which qualify to receive preference along with company contact names and phone numbers.   Contact information from resident suppliers shall be available to resident contractors to use in preparing bids and meeting Wyoming statutory requirements.

The OWNER reserves the right to reject all bids if the Governing Body determines that it is in the best interest of the City to do so.
