1st Bank employees recently donated funds in exchange for permission to wear jeans on Fridays. The crew raised $220 in conjunction with the Evanston senior center’s “8 Days of Giving” event. The bank pitched in $560 to bring the total donation to $780, which is enough to provide a year’s worth of meals, transportation or activities for one local senior citizen.
