NOTICE OF ACCEPTANCE OF AND FINAL SETTLEMENT FOR COUNTY CONSTRUCTION

Pursuant to Wyo. Stat. §§ 16-6-116 and 16-6-117, as amended, Notice is hereby given that Uinta County, Wyoming, has accepted as completed according to plans, specifications, and rules governing the same, the work performed under that certain contract dated 16 April 2019, between Uinta County, Wyoming, and A. Pleasant Construction, Inc, 1 Pleasant Way, Green River, WY 82935, the Contractor, for construction of the Uinta Counties BRIDGER VALLEY TRANSFER STATION project and the Contractor is entitled to final payment therefore: that Uinta County will cause said Contractor to be paid the full amount due to them under said contract upon the 41st day after the date of the first publication.

The date of the first publication of this notice shall be the 29th day of November 2019. The date for payment of the final settlement shall then be the 9th day of January 2020.

Notice is hereby given that the State of Wyoming, State Construction Department, has accepted as complete, according to plans, specifications, and rules governing the same, the work performed under that certain Service Contract 05SC0278094, between the State of Wyoming, State Construction Department and Safetech, Inc., whose address is 5739 Interstate Avenue, Billings, Montana 59101 for the work performed, materials, equipment, or tools furnished or used and services rendered for the substantial completion of the Removal of Asbestos Containing Material, Building 27, Bid 0430-D, at the Wyoming State Hospital, Evanston, Uinta County, Wyoming.  The contractor is entitled to final settlement therefore; that the State Construction Department will cause said Contractor to be paid the full amount due him under said contract on January 6, 2020.  The date of the first publication is November 26, 2019.

Local notice as part of the Environmental Notification Process for the Federal Communications Commission (FCC’s) Antenna Structure Registration

The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) is proposing to construct a 100-foot self-supporting lattice telecommunications structure (105-foot overall height with appurtenances). The tower would be on top of Medicine Butte at the end of County Road 108 in Uinta County, Wyoming. Project coordinates are 41°21’12.2”N, 110°54’35.2”W.

Interested persons may review the application for this project by going to www.fcc.gov/asr/applications and entering the Antenna Structure Registration (ASR) Form 854 File Number “A1149012”. Interested persons may raise environmental concerns about the proposed structure by filing a Request for Environmental Review with the FCC within 30 days of this posting. Instructions for filing such requests can be found at www.fcc.gov/asr/environmentalrequest. The FCC strongly encourages interested parties to file Requests for Environmental Review online. NOTICE OF SUBSTANTIAL

COMPLETION OF CONTRACT

To all persons, firms, or corporations who have any claim for any work done, or any material furnished to Perkes Roofing Inc. 1073 W 1500 S , for the Evanston Middle School Re-roof Retrofit Project.

You are hereby notified that Uinta County School District No. 1, 537 10th Street, has accepted substantial completion according to the Contract Documents and rules set forth in the contract between Uinta County School District No. 1 and the aforesaid Contractor of the work in connection with the Evanston Middle School Re-roof Retrofit Project, and that said Contractor is entitled to final settlement therefore.

You are further notified that upon the 6th day of January, 2020, being the 41st day after the first publication of the notice, said Uinta County School District No. 1 will pay Perkes Roofing Inc. the full amount due under said contract, and in the event your claim is not filed with Uinta County School District No. 1 prior to said 6th day of January, 2020, same shall be waived.

This notice is given pursuant to Section 16-6-116, Wyoming Statutes, 1982.

The Uinta County Commissioners met in regular session on December 3, 2019 in the commission chambers, 225 9th Street, Evanston, Wyoming.  Chairman Eric South convened meeting at 2:00 p.m. Commissioner Craig Welling and Commissioner Mark Anderson were present.  Also present: Amanda Hutchinson, County Clerk; Loretta Howieson, County Attorney; and Doug Matthews, Sheriff.

Agenda

Motion Welling, second Anderson to approve the agenda amended to remove the MCM Land Agreement and add Dean Podzamsky with a request to replace the 911 system. 3 yes votes, passed.

Budget Amendment No. 1

Motion Anderson, second Welling to approve Resolution 19-24 FY20 Budget Amendment #1 as presented by Amanda Hutchinson, County Clerk. 3 yes votes, passed.

Drug Court

Motion Welling, second Anderson to approve Amendment 1 to the Court Supervised Treatment Program grant amending the HIPAA responsibilities of the Contractor as presented by Aaron Hutchinson, Drug Court Deputy.  3 yes votes, passed.

Weed and Pest Board Appointment

911 Replacement System

Motion Anderson, second Welling to approve a new 911 system for $760,742.99 with the Motorola Call Works System including 10 years of support, which is compatible with upcoming Next Gen 911 Requirements, as requested by Dean Podzamsky, Communications Director.  3 yes votes, passed.

Elcano Subdivision

Motion Welling, second Anderson to take the Elcano subdivision off the table.  Gary Welling, GIS Coordinator, opened a public hearing to allow public comments on the Elcano subdivision located in the SW1/4 of Section 35 of T16N R115W.  Eric Wall, Uinta Engineering, spoke in favor of the subdivision.  Motion Anderson, second Welling to approve Resolution 19-25 authorizing the map amendment and Resolution 19-26 authorizing the Elcano subdivision.  3 yes votes, passed.
