The City of Evanston, WY intends to submit a grant and a loan application for a Business Ready Community (BRC) Business Committed Project. The project will include the construction of a 60,000 sq. ft. building and exterior grounds on 3.3 acres in the city-owned Union Center Business Park in which Avalon International Aluminum company will manufacture commercial metal door frames, sidelights and other components. The City is seeking citizen input regarding this project. The grant sought will be in the amount of $3 million and the loan amount will be $1.109 million. Those wishing to comment on this project are encouraged to attend a public hearing on this subject on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at 5:30 p.m., at City Hall at 1200 Main Street.
